Michelle Menna was our Realtor in 2010, when we bought our first home. She was extremely professional, responsible, competent, prompt, patient, and a pleasure to work with. One thing that impressed me about Michelle from the start of the house hunting process was her extensive networks. She gave us referrals of three competent and experienced mortgage brokers/bankers. She tapped into her networks and found us several houses that were not yet on the market to look at. She knew many of the listing agents of houses we looked at. And she had several inspectors to recommend during the escrow process.

Another important quality in a realtor is patience and availability, especially when dealing with first-time home buyers. I was always amazed at how much time Michelle was willing to spend with my husband and me, answering all of our questions, researching those beyond the realm of realtors, and offering expert advice. She was always available at any hour of the day (including late night and early morning), answering our emails within minutes. She never made us feel like we were intruding; she even took our calls during family time. And she rearranged her schedule to set up house viewings at times when we were available.

The house we decided to bid on was a short sale, and Michelle navigated that process expertly. The bank wanted more money than we were willing to spend, so we decided to look for a duplex with friends. We found the duplex of our dreams, and we made an offer. But then our friends backed out, and we found new friends to partner with. Michelle was so patient during all of these changes, whereas another Realtor might have pressured us to pay more than we felt we could. It was clear that her goal was to help us buy the perfect home for us, not to raise or expedite her commission.

During the long and complicated escrow period, Michelle worked alongside my cousin, also a Realtor. The two women worked together harmoniously, even as other realtors might be possessive of their turf. Michelle came to many inspections and participated in several extra phone meetings and strategy sessions when the closing was delayed. We were so lucky to have Michelle as our agent.

In short, I recommend Michelle Menna without reservation. In fact, I would not buy or sell a house in this area with any other realtor. When one of the couples we considered buying the duplex with came in with their own realtor, we insisted that we must use Michelle Menna. I’m so glad we did.

I am writing to express my gratitude to Michelle Menna from Keller Williams Realty Westside and to convey to others how exceptional our experience was with her in regards to finding a home for my son, Gabriel.

When we began our search, it was unclear as to where Gabriel wanted to live and whether he wanted a condo or townhome... Our search took us from Culver City to Westchester to Playa Del Rey, and when we exhausted those areas we started investigating the lofts downtown. As we entered each area, Michelle efficiently researched the available housing, showing us as much as she could in order to help Gabriel narrow down his needs and choices.  And he was able to do so, ultimately deciding to look for a place downtown which was affordable for him to live alone. I was impressed by the energy Michelle devoted to the task, keeping us motivated and interested. If there was anything she didn’t know, she found the answer in no time. It was due to her perseverance and willingness to take the time to explore options that facilitated Gabe finding the right place. She seemed tireless.

In what seemed like no time we found a wonderful loft in a new and beautiful building. We were soon to leave on a three week summer trip and so time was of the essence. Michelle made sure it all came together and that there was a signed agreement prior to our departure. In about a month’s time, the deal closed and Gabe moved into the home of his dreams. He still is in awe of his good fortune.

The process of shopping for real estate is an arduous one, having done it many times in the past I know how difficult and frustrating it can be. Michelle Menna made it an upbeat and delightful experience. Her warmth and good nature kept us engaged and positive.
